Art Scavenger Hunt

The purpose of this Art Scavenger Hunt was to find objects and take their pictures that showed the different Elements and Principles of Art and Design. The objects that you were to find were supposed to be any that may be around your room, house, or town.











The element shown in this painting is Colors. This painting is one that my two roommates did and it is now hanging in our living room.

This crayon melting project shows the element of Value. Crayon melting was a project that I tried this summer. I really enjoyed it! Once all of the crayons had dried, I added pictures to the canvas.

My leopard print blanket shows the principle of Repetition. This is one of my favorite blankets that I keep on my bed!

The steeple next to my house represents the principle of Emphasis. The steeple is one of the first things that I see when I look out my window, which helped me to decide that it would be a good piece of emphasis.

The element that is shown within my heart rug is Repetition. This great rug is one of a couple that is in my kitchen. The bright colors and repeating shapes adds a lot to our kitchen.
